Tony Curtis, father to Jaime Lee and four other children, purposefully refrained from mentioning his five children in his last will and testament. His widow, Jill and fifth wife, inherited his entire estate and wealth, though she is not the mother of any of his children.
In light of this knowledge, Jaime Lee’s daughter proceeded to contest the will without success. Had she had success, the process would have been a long and difficult one, since a widowed wife and five children, amongst the possibility of other relatives would have played a role in the court proceedings.
Family disputes have a tendency to arise when or more family members are not in accordance with a loved one’s last will and testament.
